Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned in the strongest terms the blatant attack carried out against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by three drones that violated Saudi airspace in a flagrant breach of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, affirming that this cowardly attack cannot be accepted or justified under any circumstances.

Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned the attack targeting the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates by a drone, affirming that this blatant attack constitutes an extremely dangerous escalation threatening the security of the entire region and a flagrant violation of international law and the established norms governing the protection of civilian nuclear facilities.

Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the unlawful and hostile infiltration by elements of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard into Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island and their engagement with the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which resulted in the injury of one of their personnel. He described the incident as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and security of the State of Kuwait, as well as a blatant breach of international law, the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.

Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the hijacking of an oil tanker carrying eight Egyptian sailors, in addition to crew members of other nationalities, while navigating Yemeni territorial waters off the coast of Yemen’s Shabwa Governorate, and its forcible seizure and transfer into Somali territorial waters, in a flagrant violation of international law, including the Law of the Sea and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the blatant attacks targeting the territories of the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the territorial waters of the State of Qatar, describing them as a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law.

Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, expressed his strongest condemnation of the attack carried out on Monday against at least three strategic sites in Khartoum State, including Khartoum International Airport, using unmanned aerial vehicles.

In his address, he noted that the Arab region is currently experiencing an exceptionally tense situation due to the ongoing war and its adverse repercussions, explaining that Arab States did not call for war or military confrontation, but rather sought to avoid it. Nevertheless, they have not been spared a wave of unjustified and unlawful Iranian attacks.
